Our Philosophy

Detach is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service. Most of your data never leaves your device.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally (On Your Device Only)

The following information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

  • Your schedule and time slot preferences
  • App category blocking preferences
  • Settings (theme, hardcore mode, days off)
  • Screen Time API data and app restrictions

This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us.

Information Collected Through Third-Party Services

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
If you subscribe to Detach Pro, we use RevenueCat to process your subscription. RevenueCat receives:

  • Transaction data from the App Store
  • A unique anonymous user identifier

Google AdMob (Advertisements)
Free users see ads as part of the friction feature. Google AdMob may collect:

  • Device identifiers
  • General location (country/region)
  • Ad interaction data

If you choose to submit feedback through the app, you may provide:

  • Your email address
  • Feedback content

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the App.

  • We do NOT access your contacts, photos, or messages

Children's Privacy

Detach is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. Local data is stored using iOS secure storage mechanisms. All network communications use encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
